DIAMONDS PLAN BIG OPENER

NEWCASTLE have named the first three visiting riders for their season opener on Sunday April 3.

The Diamonds are to host a Stoke Select in honour of Dave Tattum, who was a promoter at both clubs and passed away last year.

Former Newcastle stars Steve Worrall and Ben Barker both also had spells with the Potters, and will line up back in their colours on the day.

The visiting side will also include Berwick youngster Leon Flint, whose father Gary rode for Tattum at Loomer Road.
