OXFORD have named Jordan Jenkins as captain for their new National Development League side "“ to be known as the Chargers.
Jenkins, who led Mildenhall to the 2021 NDL title, will be joined at Cowley by his former Fen Tigers team-mate Sam Hagon, whilst Jacob Clouting makes the move from Kent.
Nathan Stoneman and Ben Hopwood, meanwhile, make their returns to the sport with two riders to be confirmed to complete the side.
Jenkins said: "I'm over the moon about the return of Oxford Speedway. It's great news for British Speedway after a challenging period, and to be part of the resurrection as Chargers' captain is an amazing opportunity for me.
"I feel racing for Oxford will help me to improve as a rider. I gained a lot of confidence in 2021 and outweighed my expectations.
"My performances made me realise I am capable of beating the big boys, and I'm hopeful of another equally successful campaign."
