Hometown hero Pawel Przedpelski gets an early taste of FIM Speedway Grand Prix life after being named as wild card for the eWinner Torun SGP of Poland double-header on October 1 and 2.
The event brings down the curtain on SGP 2021 and gives Przedpelski a chance to warm up for his full-time World Championship debut in 2022, after he won the GP Challenge in Zarnovica, Slovakia on August 21 to earn his place alongside Max Fricke and Patryk Dudek.
Przedpelski's last SGP appearance came in 2017, when he reached the Torun SGP semi-finals as a wild card, scoring 10 points.
The 26-year-old races for boyhood club Torun in the PGE Ekstraliga as well as competing for Swedish club Vastervik, who have qualified for the Bauhaus Elitserien play-off semi-finals.
Przedpelski dons the No.16 race jacket for rounds 10 and 11 of SGP 2021, which will see Artem Laguta and Bartosz Zmarzlik conclude their epic battle for the SGP World Championship.
The eWinner Torun SGP of Poland line-up is completed by track reserves No.17 Krzysztof Lewandowski and No.18 Karol Zupinski. Both men race for Torun as under-21 riders in the PGE Ekstraliga.
